My chunk of virtual real estate is a spot for potential web site clients to come to become more familiar with my work. It's currently my laboratory in which I'm experimenting with fewer graphics and bells and whistles -- all to see if the end product will be an attractive site that's easy to navigate and loads quickly. Next week may be something different.
It also gives me a spot to install photos of my stained glass/mixed media pieces -- mostly the ones that never found homes when they were freshly constructed -- and that now have claimed an integral niche in my oddly furnished old home.
But Pareidolia also serves as a repository for updates on all things canine -- now five in our family with the welcome but unexpected addition of the Australian Cattle Dog Zephyr from the Franklin County, NC pound at the beginning of January.

From the Skeptics Dictionary, "Pareidolia is a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct. For example, in the discolorations of a burnt tortilla one sees the face of Jesus Christ. Or one sees the image of Mother Teresa or Ronald Reagan in a cinnamon bun or a man in the moon." |
